This packages design to offered fullfill of visiting semi or full nomadic Dayak tribes, specially the Punan Tribe, to visit this tribe, is not that easy, cause they are really nomadic, and almost never seen, a few hundred nomadic Punan are left are living in the forest, to visit or communicate with them is very difficult, and could take months, as they are knowing the forest better then anyone else, and can smell people at a large distance. but anyway, we can give it a try in the Malinau area, the bigest punan village
Exploring Dayak Punan I
15 days and 14 nights
Grade : Challenging
Day 1: Balikpapan Arrival, and overnight
Day 2: Balikpapan , Fly to Tarakan, arranging permit to enter Kayan Mentarang Reserve, overnight
Day 3: Tarakan, Malinau, cross the sea by speedboat to Malinau village, overnight, preparing for the trek.
Day 4: Malinau, trekking to Long Umung, overnight at local house
Day 5: Long Umung trekking to Wayagung for overnight at local house
Day 6: Wayagung trekking through the forest overnight at jungle camp
Day 7: arrive at Long Sepayang, overnight at local house
Day 8: Long Sepayang trekking to Kelipal overnight at local house
Day 9: Kelipal trekking to Bang Biau overnight at local house
Day 10: Bang Bia trekking to long Berang overnight at local house
Day 11&12: return by motorcanoe from Long Brang to Malinau
Day 13: Malinau by boat return to Tarakan, for overnight at Hotel
Day 14: Tarakan fly to Balikpapan , overnight at Hotel
Day 15: Balikpapan departure

Day 8: Binuang trekking to Pupung overnight at local house
Day 9: Pupung trekking to Long Semammu overnight at local house
Day 10: Long Semamu trekking to Long Seberang overnight at local house
Day 11&12: return by motorcanoe from Long Seberang to Malinau
Day 13: Malinau by boat return to Tarakan, for overnight at Hotel
Day 14: Tarakan fly to Balikpapan , overnight at Hotel

Day 5: Padi trekking to Long Rungan for overnight at local house
Day 6: Long Rungan trekking to Sebanger overnight at local house
Day 7: Surrounding the area of Sebanger.vernight at local house
Day 8: Sebanger trekking to Binuang, overnight at local house
Day 9: Surrounding the area of Binuang, overnight at local house
Day 10: Binuang trekking to Long Siniling overnight at local house
Day 11&12: return by motorcanoe from Long Siniling to Malinau
Day 13: Malinau by boat return to Tarakan, for overnight at Hotel
Day 14: Tarakan fly to Balikpapan , overnight at Hotel
Day 15: Balikpapan departure
Note : the routes above won't guarentee to find the nomadic Punan Dayak where they live totaly isolated and in harmony with the forest suround. Will be really lucky when you can meet one of nomandic punan during trekking.
But the visiting village above are the Punan villages.
